    ‘Destination Delivery Charge’ – abbreviation. Refers to a charge based on a container size, which is applied in many tariffs to cargo. This is considered an accessorial charge and is added to the base ocean freight. The charge covers crane lifts off the vessel, drayage of the container within the terminal and gate fees at the terminal operation.
